We’re three-quarters of the way through the college football regular season, which is both exciting – because the cream of college football is about to rise to the top, and every meaningful game is going to have more intensity – and devastating – because our beautiful, perfect sport with the lifespan of a fruitfly is over the hill. Only three games remain for the Utes, but really only one with that importance and that intensity. The others, well, we will love those games too, but the way you love an aging pet, or a seasonal plant in the fall, because you know your remaining time with it is short.
